American Heritage Campground is a park, not a parking lot. The American Heritage Campground is said by many to be "one of the nicest parks they've seen". Camp in a 25 acre forest of Douglas firs. Campsites are spacious and secluded. Some are in an open grassy area. Hookups include electric, water, & sewer. Tents can have a site with or without hookups. All campsites have a picnic table and campfire area. There is one cozy camping cabin.
Summertime at the park includes daily activities that are fun for families. A heated outdoor swimming pool, a paved riding track for your bicycles, an animal viewing farm with goats, chickens, and ducks. Monday thru Saturday there is a free evening wagon ride . There is a big playground. There is a playfield, volleyball and horseshoe pits available.
Opening weekend each year is Memorial Day Weekend, and the park is open through Labor Day weekend. American Heritage Campground hosts RV guests year round, but with limited facilities October through April. Check the rates page for reservation information and prices. Events at the Pavilion this year... Facilities include immaculate tiled restrooms and showers, a laundry room, and store. Call or email if you have questions. You can also use the navigation bar at the top of the page to access more information about American Heritage Campground and our sister park, the Olympia Campground. |
